Our History |
In 1959, Martin Jacobs founded Humidaire, after serving the South and West Philadelphia sections with a single truck in the 1950’s.As the need grew for HVAC parts, and particularly filters used in heating systems,he began stocking parts so that they were readily available. Over 50 years and three generations later, Humidaire has been a key player in the HVAC parts market, locally and regionally, with a focus on the “hard-to-find” part.Humidaire takes pride in having our 10,000 sq.ft. warehouse fully stocked with standard and hard to find HVAC parts, always ready for immediate shipment. By stocking these parts in addition to regularly purchased items, we are able to supply parts faster than anyone else, including the manufacturer. Martin Jacobs has set the path for the dedication and care or customers that have forged long lasting relationships for decades.
